Geography

Field work is an important part of the curriculum

We hope that a study of geography will widen pupils' horizons and give them a greater understanding of the local, national and global environment and community in which they live.

We seek to encourage a spirit of adventure and build upon the boys' natural desire to seek out facts and opinions, helping them to become cultured and balanced citizens of this ever-changing world. A wide variety of topics and places are studied and the boys enjoy field work including a joint science and geography residential trip to the Lake District.
