“I used to swap cards but now I play rugby.” — 2nd year boy
At Colet Court we
see our Physical Education programme as an opportunity for boys to develop
physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually.
Through team sports we seek to develop qualities of leadership, co-operation and sportsmanship.
We are
sensitive to the ages and abilities of each of our boys and encourage them,
coach them and introduce them to new sports so that they can find their own
interests and develop their skills.
Coletines experience their first taste of many new sports, as well as train in favourites like football and tennis, at school because of this access to superb facilities. In our sports centre alone there is a fitness centre, a fencing salle, a dojo and a large sports hall, equipped for tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball and cricket nets so even wet weather can't stop our boys!

An added bonus of our open spaces and sports facilities is that our pupils can spend their breaks running off some of the energy that comes part and parcel with being a young boy!Coletines experience their first taste of many new sports, as well as train in favourites like football and tennis, at school because of this access to superb facilities.
