“I used to swap cards but now I play rugby.” — 2nd year boy

Sport plays a very important part in the life of the School. We regard our Sports Programme as an opportunity for boys to develop personally and socially as well as physically. Through individual and team based activities, we seek to develop qualities of perseverance, co-operation, leadership and sportsmanship. Above all we want our boys to be passionate about sport and to develop interests that they will keep for life.
Whether representing the 1st XV or the U10G team, learning freestyle gymnastics in a PE lesson or playing water polo during a sports camp, we are sensitive to the varying needs of each of our boys and strive to ensure that they build competence in a wide range of sporting contexts.

Our sensitive approach means boys develop competence regardless of ability

Our superb sports facilities enable boys to experience their first taste of many new sports, as well as train in favourites like football and tennis. In our sports centre alone there is a fitness centre, a fencing salle, a dojo and a large sports hall.
